Sporting opened the scoring with only five minutes on the clock. The No.9 received the ball on the edge of the area and started to drive into the box. With a cross come shot, the forward confused everyone and the ball rolled straight into the net.
Five minutes later, the hosts added a second. The ball was swung into the box and took down by the No.14. With some brilliant footwork, he managed to get past the defenders in his way and slot the ball home.
On the half hour mark, Sporting added a third goal. PFC tried to play the ball out from a goal kick but lost possession on the edge of the area. The ball was then played through to the No.11 who kept his composure and slotted the ball into the back of the net.
Fifteen minutes into the second half, PFC managed to get a goal back. After the ball wasn't cleared properly, it dropped down into the path of the No.24 who smashed the ball off of the bar and into the net.
Ten minutes later, the ball was played back to the PFC goalkeeper. Under some pressure, he tried to dummy the ball away from the on rushing Sporting No.14. He got caught out and lost possession, giving the forward the simple task of putting the ball into an empty net.
Another ten minutes went by and PFC found themselves on the counter attack. The ball was played through to the No.18 who beat his man and fired the ball into the side of the net.
A few minutes later, PFC found themselves on another counter attack, this time the ball was played across goal to the No.18 who tapped the ball in from close range.
Right at the death, Sporting were awarded a penalty kick to seal the victory. The No.14 stepped up to take it and made no mistake by sending the goalkeeper the wrong way.
The final whistle then went with Sporting Duet Academy winning the game 5-3.
